Albany, OR: Growing at All Levels

In order to remain a premier specialty chemical and materials company, Grace has 22 manufacturing facilities in 10 countries around the world. Each facility is producing different products, technologies, and services that add value to our customers.

Our Albany site, located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, has approximately 100 employees ranging from engineers and operators to R&D technicians and scientists. Albany is one of three sites that make up Grace’s Fine Chemical Manufacturing Services (FCMS). FCMS is part of our largest, fastest growing and most profitable subsegment within Grace’s Materials Technologies business. FCMS produces a comprehensive portfolio of fine chemicals that serve our customers in markets such as oncology, diabetes, cardiovascular, and antiviral pharmaceuticals. Additionally, Albany is the only Grace FCMS site that is certified for manufacturing food ingredients, such as vitamins and other nutraceuticals, which attracts a growing number of customers.
