Overview

W. R. Grace & Co. and its subsidiaries (collectively "Grace," "we" and "our") are committed to protecting your privacy and take the protection of your personal information very seriously.  This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use the personal information you provide to us when you visit our website and your choices regarding our use of that information. By accessing Grace's website, you are consenting to the information collection, use and disclosure practices described in this policy. If you do not consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described below, your choice is not to use our website. This policy may change from time to time.  Your continued use of this website after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

Grace collects several types of information from and about users of our website, including information:

  • by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline ("personal information"), and/or
  • that does not identify you personally, such as information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website and usage details.

You are not required to provide personal information as a condition of using our site. We collect personal information only when you provide it to us, for example, in order to provide you with a product or service that you requested, when you submit an invoice electronically to our Accounts Payable group or reach out to us using the "Contact Us" feature on this website.

Other, non-personal information is collected automatically as you navigate through and interact with our website and is sent to us directly by your web browser or collected through cookies and other technologies.  This information does not personally identify you and is used solely for improving the services we offer and the functionality of our websites. The technologies we use for this purpose may include:

  • Cookies (or browser cookies) - Cookies are small text files that are stored in a website visitor's local browser cache and include an anonymous unique identifier and additional information necessary to optimize the website and to support the website's intended functionality.  We use cookies to set our website visitor's user preferences when visiting our website (for example, language selection) in order to provide the best possible web experience to you.  Data collected via cookies will not be used to determine the personal identity of our website visitors. You may adjust your Internet browser to not accept or delete our cookies at any time. However, if you set your browser to refuse cookies you may be unable to access certain parts of our website. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website.
  • Use of web analytics – Grace uses industry standard web analytics to anonymously analyze internet web visits to evaluate visitors' use of our website, recognize you when you return to our Website, estimate our audience size and usage patterns and to generally deliver a better and more personalized service. Our web analytics service collects IP addresses in order to provide us with information on where site visitors are in the world and collects a history of pages viewed on our Site but does not collect information on other internet sites you visit that are outside of our site. We do not publish your IP address to others.
  • "Do Not Track" Signals - Grace does not track website visitors to its websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

What Do We Do with the Information We Collect

Grace uses your personal and non-personal information that it collects to present our Website and contents to you and to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us, including providing you with marketing and other emails if you have requested these communications.
