Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP)

The Grace Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) is a three-year program designed to develop emerging talent for critical roles at our innovative chemical processing and manufacturing sites. Participants gain experience in areas from process engineering to sales and operations planning as well as the opportunity to work closely with senior-level mentors. As Grace continues to grow, we are committed to devoting time and resources to our MLP program. 

Focus areas for our MLP participants include:

  • Process Engineering – Lead a manufacturing process improvement project
  • Project Engineering – Participate in the management of a capital project
  • Productivity – Lead a six-sigma supply chain/operations project
  • Sales and Operations Planning – Work with the sales, manufacturing, and supply chain departments to ensure the right product is made and delivered to our customers
  • Production Supervision – Lead a manufacturing team of hourly employees
  • Environment, Health, and Safety – Lead project work associated with EHS corporate and plant initiatives
  • Strategic Sourcing – Lead/ participate in sourcing and project deliverables
