  1. Hi Grace, thanks for the great article on progressions to pull ups for women. I’ve been training for over a year using tips from Al’s articles. Although I am stronger now, still haven’t been able to do 1 pull up yet. Reading about your own experience has encouraged me to keep plugging on and aiming for that 1st pull up. Hope to see more from you.

    1. Greetings Low CK, I’m so happy you read my article and enjoyed it! Al has some great tutorials! A lot of these progressions towards the pull-up were inspired by his methods as well as Convict Conditioning! That pull-up didn’t happen overnight, which is why I was so inspired to write this article for women specifically. Dudes and chicks have different workout experiences, and I wanted to touch on this to keep motivating women to stay the course. So ultimately, what I’m saying is, don’t give up! Getting that first rep is definitely an empowering feeling! It keeps me coming back to my Calisthenics practice time after time because there are so many cool skills to practice! Thankfully my article was so well-received that I will be writing regularly for! So you def won’t see the last of me! You rock and thanks again for your support and feedback!

  2. Hi Grace! Hope all is well with you in 2K16. Just wondering if you’ll be putting up any more blog posts? Quite enjoy reading them. All the best

    1. Hey Waero! Yes I will absolutely be updating my blog! I have just been on vacation taking a break from the internet (mostly) while I am kickin it in Cali! I did film a new workout and will be posting it next week for sure. Thank you SOOOO much for your support! It really makes me happy that you read my blog and are looking forward to future posts! I hope all is well with you!

  3. Hi, Grace! I love this blog and your articles on are you working on a book of body weight + yoga training for women? Don’t get me wrong, I love Al’s books (and Danny’s and Paul’s), but I enjoy reading about your experiences and you make PCC seem so much more accessible for women. Keep up the great work!

    1. Hey Nicole,
Your comment was really lovely to read! Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy my articles on and my blog posts! And to answer your question…YES, I am currently working on a calisthenics/yoga training book aimed at women! It makes me glad to hear that there is demand for such a book and I will do my best to get that out as soon as possible! =)
