Training Handstands for Strength

What’s pop’n ninjas?!? I’ve been working on improving my freestanding handstand for years. It’s always a work in progress finding that balancing point, as some days I’ve got it, and some days, I don’t. Either way, if holding a freestanding handstand isn’t your goal, doesn’t mean you should neglect your WALL-assisted practice. There are a ton of strength gains and health benefits to reap from practicing this powerful inversion.

  1. Great article Grace and I really liked that saying β€œwhen the elbows bend, the power ends.”…never heard of it before, its very catchy and makes a HEAP of good sense in terms of the application of effort to the movement. As always much appreciated for the updates and activity.

    1. Hey WT! Isn’t that an awesome line? It’s definitely got a good ring to it, and easy to remember as you’re throwing yourself into inversions! Haha! Thanks again for always supporting my writing efforts! It really makes me happy to hear that you get so much from my posts!
      Cheers,
