Beginner Calisthenics Tutorial

What’s pop’n ninjas? Lately I’ve been getting a lot of requests for a beginner calisthenics workout video! Well, ask and you shall receive, amigos! If you are just getting started with bodyweight training, this video is a great place to begin. There are 6 basic moves in this video that can make for a well-rounded routine: Squats, Push-ups, Pull-ups, Bridges, Leg Raises, and Dips!

All of these moves are scaled down to their simplest variations for mixed levels of fitness. Even if you do have experience training calisthenics, there’s nothing wrong with practicing the basics for a strong foundation. Everyone was once a beginner! Check it out:

Incline Push-ups 3 sets of 10 reps

Aussie Pull-ups 3 sets of 10 reps

Squats 2 sets of 20 reps

Bench Dips 3 sets of 10 reps

Knee Raises 3 sets of 15 reps

Easy Bridge 3 sets of 10 reps
